1. What “Sell” or “Share” May Mean

Hezipop does not sell personal information to third parties in exchange for monetary compensation.

However, certain U.S. privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” more broadly. For example, disclosing cookie identifiers, device information, or website activity to an advertising partner in exchange for advertising, analytics, or another benefit may qualify as:

  • A sale of personal information
  • Sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising
  • Processing for targeted advertising

These definitions may apply even when no money is exchanged.

2. Personal Information That May Be Involved

Depending on the technologies and services enabled on our website, the categories of personal information involved may include:

  • Shopify and Shopify Network Intelligence, where enabled
  • Other analytics or advertising providers disclosed through our Cookie Preferences tool

These services may use cookies, pixels, tags, or similar technologies to measure website activity, understand advertising performance, prevent fraud, or provide advertising based on activity across different websites and services.

The technologies actually operating during a visit depend on our Shopify settings, installed applications, visitor location, consent status, browser settings, and privacy choices.

Follow the displayed instructions to opt out of applicable data sharing and targeted advertising.

Method 2: Use Global Privacy Control

Where required by applicable law, Hezipop and supported Shopify privacy features will process a recognised Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal.

A GPC selection generally applies only to the browser and device from which the signal is sent.

Please include enough information for us to understand and apply the request, such as the email address associated with your account or order. Do not send complete payment card numbers, passwords, or government identification documents.

5. No Account or Purchase Required

You do not need to create an account or make a purchase to submit an opt-out request.

We will not require identity verification beyond what is reasonably necessary to understand, authenticate, and process the request. An opt-out request involving browser-based technologies may not require personal identification.

6. Effect of an Opt-Out

After an applicable opt-out is processed:

  • Applicable advertising or data-sharing technologies should stop using information from the affected browser or device for covered targeted-advertising purposes.
  • You may continue to see advertisements, but they should not be selected using covered cross-context activity from the affected browser or device.
  • Essential cookies and processing required for checkout, security, fraud prevention, order fulfilment, and Customer Support may continue.
  • Processing otherwise permitted by applicable law may continue.

An opt-out does not prevent Hezipop from using personal information to complete an order, provide Customer Support, maintain security, comply with law, or perform other necessary business functions.

7. Browser and Device Limitations

Cookie-based opt-out selections may apply only to the browser or device used to make the selection.

If you clear cookies, change browsers, use another device, or browse in private mode, you may need to repeat your privacy selection or enable GPC on the additional browser or device.

If you have a Hezipop customer account, signing in before using the available privacy control may help associate certain choices with your account where supported.

  • Your browser’s cookie settings
  • Supported browser privacy tools
  • A recognised GPC-enabled browser or extension

Blocking essential cookies may prevent shopping-cart, checkout, account, security, or other necessary website features from functioning correctly.

9. Authorised Agents

Where permitted by applicable law, you may authorise another person or organisation to submit an opt-out request on your behalf.

We may request information reasonably necessary to confirm that the agent has authority to act for you. We will not request more personal information than reasonably necessary to process the request.

A recognised GPC signal may be processed as an opt-out request without requiring separate authorised-agent documentation where applicable.

Hezipop does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 for targeted advertising without the affirmative authorisation required by applicable law.

11. No Unlawful Discrimination

Hezipop will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

This means that, solely because you submitted a valid privacy request, we will not unlawfully:

  • Deny products or services
  • Charge a different price
  • Provide a different level or quality of service
  • Retaliate against you

This provision does not prevent differences that are reasonably related to the value of data or otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Where consent is required, non-essential technologies will not be reactivated unless the applicable consent or opt-in is provided.
